Grapes should not be misunderstood as being too high in carbs, sugar, or calories to be good for us. It’s just the opposite. Like bananas, grapes are a first-rate fruit that promotes wellness of the highest level. And grapes are less sweet than we think; they are more defined by tartness, which is a key medicinal quality. When I was going through the hardest times of my life, Spirit would always tell me to remember that all storms pass. Nothing stays the same, and all things change.The sun will come out again and blue skies will replace the grey, you just have to hang in there until they do. This might seem like a simple concept, but it doesn't detract from its truth or the power it has to help you through the dark times.
I personally have gripped on to this wisdom from Spirit many times to endure the storms in my life, and I wanted to share it with you today so that you and your loved ones can hold onto it too. Remembering that everything changes and all things will pass helps build up your spirit so you can persevere through the hard times knowing there is change ahead. When you hold this truth close, it helps to speed up your healing process.
The Benefits of Time Traveling
There is a popular trend today to focus on the present moment. The concept suggests that focusing on what's happening right now allows us to not dwell on the past, which we can't change, or the future, which is far away and diverts our attention from what's in front of us right now. The idea behind this movement is that by being present, we can prevent feeling miserable about what's already happened in our lives or doesn't exist yet, and we can be grateful for what we have in this very moment. This is a powerful, positive, and mindful practice.
Focusing on the present moment can be a wonderful strategy for someone who is healthy and happy, but is busy or overwhelmed with work, or not taking enough time out to appreciate what really matters in their life. It can help to ground them and calm their mind as a form of meditation. But if you're someone who presently is suffering or has a chronic illness, symptom, or pain, or you're going through a hard time emotionally or in any other way, you don't always have to be in the present moment. In fact for many, the present moment is the last place you want to be. This may surprise you, but Spirit taught me that instead it's typically better to think of the past or future.
If you or a loved one is struggling with a physical or emotional illness or symptom currently, you have to look into the past. Think back to a time when you did feel good, before you experienced illness, struggles, or trials. Or if you've always had hardships, is there a time in the past when it all felt a bit easier? That's where you need to take your mind and thoughts to.
Think about how you felt, what you were doing and enjoying, the places you were in, the beautiful moments you experienced. Thinking back to happier and healthier times in the past connects you with the feelings you had then, and reminds your spirit and soul that the same health and happiness you had back then is still within you now. It reminds you that it's possible to feel good again and that healing isn't that far away.
Remembering that all storms pass, It's also important to think about the future. You can heal and feel happy and healthy again, so plan for the good times ahead in your future. What do you look forward to? Where do you see yourself in the future? Imagine how you will feel when you're healed or have come out of this storm, rising out of the ashes, and you're doing the things you've been wanting to. Keep your dreams alive by spending time planning for your future, because the sun will come out again.
Celebrate Your Progress
If you've already been taking some steps for healing or easing a stressful situation, like including more fruits, drinking celery juice, watching the sunset, or praying to the Angels, have you noticed any little changes, even if they're not consistent yet? Every little bit of progress we make counts, and it's critical when we are in a storm to hold onto every little improvement, win, or relief we experience.
Healing isn't always a linear process, so don't be discouraged if it seems like there's some setbacks. Often it's three steps forward, two steps back, so there may be times when it can feel like we aren't making progress, but in reality we are. Healing can also happen in increments where a lot of progress could be made one month and then small amounts of progress the next month.
But if we really pay attention, we may notice that we did have a better day, or headaches come less frequently, or we have a little more energy. When you notice little shifts, hold onto them as a reminder that health and happiness is possible, and all storms pass.

What Are The Unforgiving Four?

Each of these four health threats can wreak havoc all on their own, but when a combination of them are present in us, they can really get a strong foothold and cause an incredible amount of suffering over time. That's because they are passed through our bloodlines to each new generation. Don't confuse this with genetics. They aren't passed through our genes, but at conception and in the womb, and then we are exposed to and contract more of The Unforgiving Four over our lifetimes.

There was a time when DDT was considered healthy and celebrated. It was practically force fed to our forefathers to eat, drink, and be showered in. Now we know that it's one of the most toxic chemicals to ever have been created. While it is outlawed in many countries now, it's still being used in many places around the world, which means it's still in the air and getting into our bodies. The damage created by DDT in the past also hasn't gone away.
It's still entrenched in our environment and bodies, and passed down through our bloodlines. DDT and other pesticides, and herbicides leave our immune systems weak and suppressed so that pathogens and other contaminants can get an advantage. But there are tools we can use to get DDT and its herbicide and pesticide cousins out of our system, and this is just one part of what I cover in my book Life-Changing Foods.
We are more saturated with radiation today than ever before in history. More than during Hiroshima or Fukushima even. Only a fraction of the radiation fallout from catastrophic events like these has begun to fall on us. Then there's our constantly connected culture that creates its own level of radiation. This is just two of the ways we receive radiation. There's also many other ways we can be directly exposed, along with environmental fallout, food and water supply contamination, and inheritance of our parents' and grandparents' exposure.
Radiation is a leading contributor to cancers, endocrine system dysfunction, bone diseases such as osteopenia and osteoporosis, bone spurs, immune system failure, and skin diseases. Toxic Heavy Metals
Did you know you could have mercury in your system? It's commonly known that there are toxic heavy metals that we are exposed to in our environment and products we use. What's not known is the extent of the damage they do to our health, and how they are also passed down through our bloodlines. Mercury, a particularly devastating and obnoxious heavy metal, could have been mined a thousand years ago but now be sitting in our brains causing neurological conditions and diseases. This smoothie is not only delicious, it's also perfectly designed to include five key ingredients that work together in synergy to pull heavy metals like mercury, lead, aluminum, nickel, copper, and cadmium out of your organs where they accumulate.
Toxic heavy metals are virtually everywhere, and are present in things we come in contact with every day, such as aluminum cans and aluminum foil, batteries, metal cookware, old paint, and even the foods we eat. For instance, pesticides and herbicides (which are hard to completely avoid even on a strict organic diet), are a common source of heavy metals. As a result, most of us are carrying around heavy metals that have been with us for almost our whole lives and which have burrowed deep inside our tissues.
Unfortunately, it is these “old” metals, the ones that have been lurking in our system for prolonged periods of time, that pose the greatest threat. For example, over time toxic heavy metals can oxidize, causing damage to surrounding tissue and promoting inflammation. They literally poison our bodies, and can inflict damage on virtually every system and organ, including our brain, liver, digestive system, and other parts of our nervous system. Toxic heavy metals put an immense burden on our immune system, leaving us vulnerable to a variety of illnesses.
While toxins of every kind are harmful, heavy metals pose a unique threat. Not only are they damaging in their own right, they are also a form of neurotoxin (a poison that disrupts nerve function and confuses your immune system). Heavy metal neurotoxins can inflame and irritate our central nervous system (especially our brain), causing multiple symptoms such as memory loss, brain fog, fatigue, and depression. Toxic heavy metals can also promote inflammation in the digestive tract, releasing poisons into our gut as well. As if this isn’t bad enough, heavy metals also serve as a source of food for viruses, bacteria, parasites, and other pathogens in our body.
For example, heavy metals can serve as a feeding ground for Streptococcus A or B, E. coli, C. difficile, H. pylori, and yeast cells. This can create an overgrowth of multiple bacteria in our gut, resulting in a condition known as SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth), which is characterized by bloating, abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation (or both), and can lead to nutrient deficiencies. Additionally, when viruses such as Epstein-Barr and shingles feed off toxic heavy metals, this can produce symptoms such as tingling, numbness, fatigue, anxiety, heart palpitations, ringing in the ears, dizziness and vertigo, as well as neck pain, knee pain, foot pain, pain in the back of the head, and a variety of other aches and pains that are often attributed to other causes.
It's virtually impossible not to take in a certain amount of these toxic heavy metals in our modern era, so it's vitally important to our health that we get them out before they can wreak further havoc on our health. Thankfully, it's relatively simple to remove them from our organs if we consume the right foods to do so. Adding the following all-star team of foods to your diet and being diligent in your efforts to consume them will go a long way toward ridding your body of heavy metals:
Spirulina: This edible blue-green algae draws out heavy metals from your brain, central nervous system, and liver, and soaks up heavy metals extracted by barley grass juice extract powder. Take 2 teaspoons mixed in water, coconut water, or juice.
Barley grass juice powder: prepares the mercury for complete absorption by the spirulina. This nutritive grass has the ability to draw heavy metals out of your spleen, intestinal tract, pancreas, thyroid, and reproductive system. Drink 1-2 teaspoons mixed into coconut water or juice.
Cilantro: Goes deep into hard-to-reach places, extracting metals from yesteryear (so it’s great for that mercury inheritance you’re carrying around!). Blend one cup in a smoothie or juice, or add to salad or guacamole.
Wild blueberries: Draw heavy metals out of your brain tissue, healing and repairing any gaps created by oxidation when the heavy metals are removed. It is important to use wild blueberries, as they possess unique phytonutrients with special detoxifying capabilities. The potent antioxidants in wild blueberries help reverse any oxidative damage left behind by the heavy metal removal. This is especially important for your brain tissue—in fact, wild blueberries are the most powerful food for halting or in some cases reversing Alzheimer’s and dementia. Eat at least one cup daily. Note: while cultivated blueberries are nutritious, they lack the metal-drawing ability of the wild blueberries. Wild blueberries can be found in the freezer section of most supermarkets.
Atlantic dulse: In addition to mercury, this edible seaweed binds to lead, aluminum, copper, cadmium, and nickel. Unlike other seaweeds, Atlantic dulse is a powerful force for removing mercury on its own. Atlantic dulse goes into deep, hidden places of the digestive tract and gut, seeking out mercury, binding to it, and never releasing it until it leaves the body. Eat two tablespoons of flakes daily, or an equal amount of strips if it’s in whole-leaf form. Note: As it comes from the ocean, if you are concerned about the dulse itself having mercury, be aware that Atlantic sea dulse will not release any mercury it might possess into the body. It holds on to the mercury as it works its way through, and even grabs onto other metals along the way and drives them out as well. Atlantic dulse is a critical part of the team because it can hang out near the finish line (i.e., our colon), waiting for the other foods that have been grabbing on to heavy metals along the way. Eye health conditions have many different causes that vary dependent on the symptoms you’re dealing with, and what else is going on in your body. Many of them can heal. However there are some commonalities across the different types of conditions too.
Whenever there is an eye health condition, there will also be a lack of antioxidants, mineral deficiencies, and/or free radicals in the body from oxidizing heavy metals, pesticides, and other toxins. Anyone with eye health issues would benefit from increasing the antioxidants and minerals in their diet by eating more fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices, and wild foods.
This condition is typically caused by an antioxidant and mineral deficiency so it’s important to focus on bringing in more of these nutrients from fresh fruits and vegetables.
When it’s not macular degeneration, blurry eyes can be a neurological problem that’s caused by a number of other issues like blood toxicity, a liver condition, heavy metal toxicity, or viral issues in the liver that affect the central nervous system.It can also be from blood sugar issues like hypoglycemia, inconsistent blood sugar issues, glucose deficiency, and more. Diabetic conditions develop from the adrenals and liver, which can lead to blurry vision. It’s important to increase fruits and vegetables and consider lowering animal foods. If a child needs glasses early in their life, it’s typically from mercury they have inherited from generations of the family live. You can read my book Medical Medium for more information on this. Mercury disorientates the eyes, throwing off the eye muscles, eye responses, and some of the nerves behind the eye. Children can need glasses overnight whereas some older people need glasses later in life from a slower rate of toxic mercury build up over time.
A specific variety of Epstein-Barr virus causes glaucoma. This variety may not cause many health challenges other than some fatigue until someone is much older when they can get glaucoma. An anti-viral protocol for EBV like the one described in my book is important.
This symptom is typically caused by the Shingles virus. You may even have tingling, tickling sensations on the sides of the face which causes your eyes to burn, squint, or tingle. The Shingles protocol I outline in my book is very important.
White or black floating spots in your vision are caused by a lot of neurotoxins floating around in the body from Epstein-Barr virus. EBV shortcuts currents and electrical currents that go to the eye causing these floaters.
If you have trigeminal neuralgia pain up the neck and jaw, you might get told you have TMJ. It can also run to the eye causing pain from inflamed nerves, which is really caused by Shingles.
Eye Related Migraines
These painful migraines are due to a combination of viral issues and heavy metal toxicity. You can follow my protocols for both of these to help recover your health.
The main culprit causing styes is a bacterial infection from streptococcus. Strep sits dormant in the sinuses and comes into the eyes when the immune system is down. You can also get styes when you pick up a fresh strain of strep from dirty places. Also, when you pick up a flu virus, it can feed any congestion in the body and cause an outbreak of strep. Staph bacteria can be the other cause of styes.
Optic Nerve Issues
This is a viral issue where typically only one eye is affected. An antiviral approach with lots of fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices, wild foods, and targeted supplements can help.
The real cause of cataracts is exposure to pesticides and herbicides and old DDT stored in your body that’s been inherited over the generations. I talk more about this in my book Medical Medium, Life-Changing Foods, and Liver Rescue. You can follow the advice in these books and also do your best to switch to an organic diet.
This is mostly caused from adrenal health issues. You can support your adrenals by grazing every 1.5 to 2 hours. Watch my video for some perfectly balanced adrenal snack ideas.
Some of the most healing foods for eye health conditions include wild blueberries, raspberries, mangos, asparagus, oranges, avocado, parsley, celery juice, saffron, fennel, spinach, winter squash, carrots, and sweet potatoes.
Some of the most healing supplements for eye health conditions include spirulina, barley grass juice extract powder, elderberry tea, eyebright, ginkgo biloba, nettle leaf, Micro-C, zinc, and selenium.

Injuries can seem pretty black and white. You get into a car accident and hurt your neck, or you slip on a wet surface, fall, and break or sprain your ankle. Injuries happen every day and they are a normal and common part of life.
What’s not so straightforward is when someone injures themselves but just doesn’t recover well. Or the injury hangs around for years causing more pain and immobility. Or maybe the injury is worse after surgery. Meanwhile someone else may be recovered in a week and have some pain, but soon feel good as new.
There’s also mysterious injuries that can occur. You may not have something physically apparent that your doctor or specialist can see, but you’re still in pain and injured. Or maybe tests show a past injury has healed but there’s still pain.
Why do some people heal easily and others don’t?
The difference between these scenarios is what else is going on with the person’s health. If someone has a chronic illness that the body is already working hard to deal with, it becomes much harder to heal an injury.
Generally when healing, timing and pain are not as in correct proportion to the injury, it means there is an underlying viral condition that is creating more of a problem than the injury alone would. If someone has a viral condition and then experiences a huge rush of corrosive adrenaline from an injury, the virus could take a stronger hold.
Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) and the Shingles virus (of which they are many varieties of both) are typically the viruses behind viral injury pain. Standard knee surgeries and injuries for example can be especially troublesome for someone who has EBV. Shingles can be the reason for frozen shoulders, shoulder and neck, paralysis, and more. Simply turning your neck when you have active Shingles can lead to an injury that causes pain. These are just a few examples of viral injuries.
Injuries also become worse if you’re eating foods that feed viruses. Foods like eggs, dairy, and more. The viral inflammation increases and affects the injury pain and recovery. You can read more about this in-depth in my book Medical Medium.
Getting injuries is so frustrating but it’s a part of life for almost everyone and we have to keep a light heart and humor as much as possible with injuries. Frustration and anger tightens up the muscles and the nerves so need to stay light hearted and as calm as possible.
Simple Steps To Heal Injuries
1. Warm and Cold Packs
The simple technique of placing hot and cold packs on injured and chronically inflamed areas is very effective, but often overlooked or ignored. To treat an injured area like your back or neck, place a warm pack against the area for 30 minutes in the morning to loosen the muscles. The over the day and evening, place a cold pack against the area for 30 minutes. Do this two times. The cold pack trains the nerves to calm down and reduce inflammation so they don’t get more inflamed, crack, and harden. It’s important to follow this schedule of warm and cold packs as closely as possible. It can make all the difference in your recovery.
2. Supports and Braces
Supports, braces, crutches, and walking sticks allow some of the pressure to be taken off the body and enable and speed up the healing process. Your muscles will still move a little bit while also helping your body to heal.
3. Gentle Movement
Most injured areas need a little bit of movement. Just a tiny bit of movement like gentle walking (if possible) or simple movements back and forth a few times can help recovery, even if it’s a little bit uncomfortable or painful. You need to find the right amount of gentle movement that moves the area just a little bit, while not causing too much pain. When it comes to ankle injuries, it’s important to stay off them right away after the injury. You can put a tiny bit of weight on it here and there to still move the area.
4. Healing Foods
GIven chronic injuries are typically due to an underlying virus, it’s critical to stop giving the virus the foods it feeds on, like dairy and eggs. I cover these foods in detail in my book Medical Medium. Bring in significantly more fruits and vegetables to replace these foods. Top healing foods for viral inflammation and injuries include leafy greens kale, spinach,arugula, mesclun mix, broccoli, oranges, wild blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, cherries, sweet potato, winter squash, tomatoes, asparagus, sea vegetables like dulse, kelp, and nori, sesame seeds, and grapes.
5. Healing Supplements
Certain supplements help injuries to heal more quickly and effectively, target viral inflammation, and/or strengthen the immune system. Some of my preferred supplements for injuries include B12 with adenosylcobalamin and methylcobalamin, zinc, vitamin C, Orgono G5 Siliplant silica, glucosamine, MSM, plant based omega 3’s, nettle leaf, Natural Calm magnesium, curcumin, magnesium glycinate, spirulina, cat’s claw, lemon balm, and olive leaf.
6. Believe You Can Heal
Your body responds to your thoughts. Start thinking about how your body is working hard for you and healing you. The more you focus on that, the more your body’s healing processes will be activated.

Eczema and psoriasis can cause an incredible amount of suffering and debilitation for the millions of people it affects. And yet the answers for how to heal from these conditions aren’t even close to being discovered by medical science and medical research.
Eczema and psoriasis are truly medical mysteries. Not only are their causes unknown, there’s also many varieties of eczema and psoriasis that medical science isn’t aware of. There’s not just a handful of varieties of eczema and psoriasis as currently believed, there’s over 100 of each. With so little understanding of the truth, the treatment options for someone suffering with eczema and psoriasis are also extremely limited and don’t heal the real cause.
The True Cause Of Eczema and Psoriasis
The real cause of eczema and psoriasis stems from the liver. However it’s not a liver disease that can be easily detected with liver tests. For a full understanding of the undiscovered cause of eczema, psoriasis, rosacea (and acne), and how you can heal, check out my book Liver Rescue.
There are a specific group of toxins that are not known to conventional or alternative medicine and won’t be singled out for another 30 years or more, which will then be called dermatoxins. These dermatoxins are highly inflammatory toxins released from the liver that only come out through the skin and damage the derma. The skin breaks and bleeds as it tries to eliminate the toxins.
Dermatoxins are created by a pathogen that has made its home in the liver. The pathogen consumes and eliminates copper and this is what creates the dermatoxin that leads to eczema and psoriasis. The copper the pathogen feeds on in the liver is very old copper from generations ago, specifically from the pesticide DDT from 1874 onwards. There were crude early versions of DDT before the 1930’s variety of DDT that is well known. Previous to 1874, eczema and psoriasis was practically unknown. Not only does the copper feed the pathogen, it also stops the DDT from degrading, so eczema and psoriasis doesn’t go away.
The condition is then made worse if someone also has a bad diet that burdens the liver even more, and/or they continue to be exposed to more copper from old copper pipes or pesticides on food or in the environment.
Healing From Eczema & Psoriasis
It’s very possible to heal eczema and psoriasis and be free of it. Now you know the true cause, you can move forward in the right direction.
Firstly, it’s very important to eat as much organic food as you can to limit even more pesticide toxicity. Avoid spraying your lawns and garden too, and avoid using insecticides in your home. Secondly, because the dermatoxins stem from a very overburdened and hard working liver, it’s very important to support the liver by focusing as much as possible on a plant based diet that is low in fat at least during the most difficult times of the condition. Following the Liver Cleanse in my book Liver Rescue would be very helpful. It’s important to note that not all cleanses are helpful. In truth, some can be very damaging. The cleanse in Liver Rescue is both gentle and effective and supports the liver exactly in the ways it needs.
Once you’ve recovered, you can choose the healthiest diet that you feel is right for you. It’s also important to eliminate grains, eggs, dairy, canola oil, soy and corn. There are many wonderful healing foods to support healing from eczema and psoriasis. Foods to focus on daily include wild blueberries, papaya, pears, watermelon and its seeds, kale, arugula, sprouts, lettuces like romaine, red and green leaf, and butter leaf, avocado, sweet potatoes, winter squashes, burdock root, and hemp seeds.
Supplements and herbs that are very helpful include fresh aloe water, zinc, B complex, MSM, curcumin, skullcap tincture, calendula, peppermint tea, rose hip tea, nettle leaf tea or tincture, chamomile tea, and burdock root tea. The true cause of cystic acne is a chronic streptococcus infection in the body, so an antibacterial regime is necessary for healing. The medical world generally believes acne is a hormonal issue. It’s not hormones, but when we are hormonal in any way at certain stages or cycles of life, our immune system is weaker and strep can take advantage of this and proliferate greatly. This is what causes acne during these times.
To lower the strep in your body there are certain healing foods and supplements to focus on. The best foods include wild blueberries, lettuces, avocado, onions, garlic, lemon, and orange. It’s also critical to stay away from grains, eggs, dairy, soy, and canola oil.
The best supplements include zinc, periodic goldenseal, fresh thyme tea, lemon balm tea or tincture, silver hydrosol, and lots of vitamin C like Micro-C. You can find many of my preferred suppliers of these supplements, herbs and teas here.
Healing is possible for those people suffering with eczema, psoriasis, and cystic acne. Listen to the radio show and apply the information I share consistently. It takes time to heal the liver, so give it time and have patience. Healing from eczema and psoriasis specifically is cyclical, meaning it’s normal to have rash cycles on and off as you heal. Keep going and add in more of the healing foods and supplements as you’re able. Consult with your doctor or practitioner for support if you like. Streptococcus can be completely wiped from the body over time, leaving you free of acne. There is a way out for you. Take it one day at a time and keep moving forward.
The Epstein-Barr virus has created a secret epidemic. Out of the roughly 320 million people in the U.S., over 225 million Americans have some form of EBV that's affecting their life. Medical communities are aware of only one version of EBV, but there are actually over 60 varieties. They have no idea how the virus operates long-term and how problematic it can be.

If you catch EBV, it goes through an initial dormant period of floating around in your bloodstream doing little more than slowly replicating itself to build its numbers—and waiting for an opportunity to launch a more direct infection.
At the end of Stage One, the Epstein-Barr virus is ready to do battle with your body. That’s when EBV first makes its presence known by turning into mononucleosis. Medical communities are unaware that every case of mononucleosis is only Stage Two of EBV. During this Stage Two, your body’s immune system goes to war with the virus. It’s during this stage that EBV seeks a long-term home by making a run for one or more of your major organs—typically your liver and/ or spleen.
Once the virus settles into your liver, spleen, and/or other organs, it nests there. From this point on, when a doctor tests for Epstein-Barr, she or he will find antibodies and take these to indicate a past infection, when EBV was in its mono phase. The doctor will not find the EBV presently active in the bloodstream. The confusion here is one of the biggest blunders in medical history—this is how this virus has slipped through the cracks.
The ultimate goal of the Epstein-Barr virus is to inflame your central nervous system. Your immune system normally wouldn’t allow this to happen. But if EBV has successfully worn you down in Stage Three, the virus will take advantage of your vulnerability and start to cause a multitude of strange symptoms that range from heart palpitations to generalized aches and pains to nerve pain. Patients with these issues are sometimes diagnosed as having fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, or rheumatoid arthritis, all of which are collections of symptoms that medical communities admit they don’t understand and for which they have no cure.

While EBV is a serious threat to our health, the good news is that if you carefully and patiently follow the steps detailed in my book Medical Medium and my radio show, you can heal. You can recover your immune system, free yourself of EBV, recover the health of your liver, rejuvenate your body, gain full control over your health, and move on with your life.
