Bananas have antibacterial properties that are incredible for collecting strep and pulling it out of the system. Enjoy them as a snack, in fruit bowls, smoothies, or blend frozen bananas into ice cream.
Berries are a powerhouse food that are great for helping to defeat strep anywhere in the body. Enjoy them as a snack, in fruit bowls, smoothies, juices, sauces, or gluten-free oatmeal. Spinach is a fantastic antibacterial. It’s important to eat spinach raw, not cooked, to receive its healing benefits. Raw honey contains phytochemicals that help destroy all the different strep bacteria varieties. It’s delicious on top of fruit, in salad dressings, in lemon or lime water or added to smoothies and fruit ice creams.
Oregano is a powerful antiseptic and antibacterial that works to kill off streptococcus. Try adding fresh chopped oregano to your salads, soups, and pasta sauce, or steep it in water overnight and drink the next day. It can also be made into a hot herbal tea. Oregano oil can also be found as a tincture, extract, or capsule form online or at your local health food store.
Thyme is another excellent antibacterial herb. It is especially helpful as a purifying herb for the digestive tract where it kills off strep bacteria, making it a key herb for anyone with SIBO, IBS, bloating, and other gut conditions. Enjoy it in the same way as oregano.

Women's reproductive health problems have become rampant. Nine out of 10 women have at least one of these issues: hormone imbalance, endometriosis, PCOS, fibroids, cysts, breast density, HPV, infertility, pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), infertility, or another. Worse, 10 out of 10 women have one of these hormonal or reproductive issues brewing—a problem is developing that will show up in time.
Somehow, we’ve come to think this is normal and that these problems are just part of being a woman. I can assure you this is not the case—it isn’t something any woman should have to live with or consider normal. For decades, the medical system has blamed hormones for women’s suffering, as though feeling terrible is simply part of being female. When the liver is too overwhelmed with pathogens and toxins, and when we eat a diet high in fat that further bogs the body down, the liver can’t do its job filtering and cleaning and detoxifying. Over a period of years, this critical organ becomes sluggish, fatty, lazy and saturated. That’s when the poisons end up in our bloodstream, our organs and our tissues.

There’s a very important and specific way to consume it that I explain in the book. Here’s how this herbal medicine (yes, celery is an herb) helps women’s health issues:
Breast density. When toxins build up in breast tissue, they create density and cause the connective tissue to lose elasticity and viscosity. When the liver has already reached its maximum capacity of toxins, the lymphatic system becomes a secondary filtration system. The breast is a lymph system. When poisons and toxic heavy metals start to accumulate there, saturation happens quickly, and breast tissue becomes dense.
In addition to toxins, another leading contributor to breast density is the calcium in dairy products. This form of calcium is not a healthy calcium. It’s an aggressive calcium. It becomes fuel for pathogens and bugs, and it’s antagonistic to women’s health. Dehydration of breast tissue is another cause of breast density. The toxins that have accumulated in the tissue keep cells from being revitalized. Then if there’s no living water (which is present in abundance in celery juice) to flush out the tissue and keep it healthy and hydrated, more problems mount. In addition to celery juice, you can use other living drinks at different times to stay hydrated, such as lemon or lime water, cucumber juice, melon juice, and fresh squeezed orange juice. Go ahead and add some raw honey to your lemon or lime water if you’d like—honey is antiviral and antipathogenic.
The Epstein Barr virus is responsible for some of the more advanced breast conditions and issues, including some forms of breast cancer. Here again, celery juice comes to the rescue by breaking down the virus over time and flushing it out of your body.
Cysts. Reproductive cysts can develop from a range of toxins, including heavy metals, pesticides, funcidies, herbicides, and viruses like Epstein-Barr. These cysts can be benign or cancerous, depending on the toxins you have and how aggressive the variety of Epstein-Barr (there are more than 60 varieties—the virus has mutated, and some versions are quite old while others are brand new).
Many cysts are lymphatic vessel scar tissue surrounding the reproductive system that became inflamed and hardened, and maybe even calcified, due to viral infection.
Cysts tend to thrive energetically around toxins and around toxic unhealthy cells. You’ll want to follow the “no foods” lists from the Medical Medium books to ensure you’re not supporting the growth of cysts and other health problems, and also try some of the supplements I suggest to support your healing.
Celery juice prevents cysts from thriving and expanding. The sodium cluster salts in celery juice have a saturation rate that allows them to enter hardened cystic material. When they enter, they can find the pathogens within and loosen up and break it down. Celery juice also disperses the scar tissue that can otherwise become keloids and adhesions. It provides further support by feeding and nourishing the healthy cells around the cysts, making those cells stronger so they can stop the growth of cysts that may be growing nearby.
Endometriosis. Celery juice provides undiscovered phytochemical compound inhibitors that stop abnormal tissue growth. And endometriosis is abnormal tissue cells that are growing where they’re not supposed to be growing—spreading and clinging to the bladder, the colon, the pelvic cavity and elsewhere in the body. The inhibitors inside celery juice push back on endometrial tissue that’s trying to develop outside the uterus.
The reason these abnormal cells are growing is because of toxins. Unhealthy cells develop in part because we’re constantly exposed to unhealthy, toxic foreign hormones that are in our food, water and many everyday consumer products. These hormones are in pesticides, fungicides, herbicides and plastics.
If you’re dealing with endometriosis or other women’s health issues, it’s especially important to clean up your household to whatever extent is possible. Get rid of conventional cleaning products and laundry detergents. Stop using conventional perfumes, air fresheners and candles. Note that many shoe and clothing brands spray their products with fungicides—another toxin to avoid.
Fibroids. Fibroids in the uterus have different causes, but unknown to medical research and science, the two main causes are Epstein-Barr virus and streptococcus bacteria. When a virus is the offender, the fibroid has a rounder shape. When bacteria is to blame, it looks like scar tissue or an adhesion and it takes on more of a cashew shape.

If you have fibroids, it’s important to stay completely away from milk, cheese and butter. If you eat animal proteins, be sure it’s very clean and 100 percent grass-fed. Also, avoid pork and bacon, which are high in fat and bog down the immune system. If you’re plant-based, don’t overdo the oils and nuts—they’re also high in fat. Stay away from corn, safflower oil and cottonseed oil.
PCOS. This condition is 100 percent due to Epstein-Barr, which causes fluid-filled cysts and other ovarian injuries. The cluster salts in celery juice break down the Epstein-Barr and lower your viral load.
This truth is not recognized because people get sidetracked focusing on hormones and genes. Certainly genes are amazing in so many ways and science is trying to crack their codes and mysteries, but when it comes to chronic illness, blaming genetics is keeping people distracted. Nobody wants to look into the true cause—Epstein-Barr virus—because it would upset the industries. If the virus was tagged and people actually looked into it, they’d find that the virus is patented and has a history and a serial number. They’d realize the virus goes back to labs in the 1920s and ‘30s and that the virus got out and mutated and is creating all kinds of health problems.
With PCOS it’s critical to stay away from eggs. Unfortunately, many well-meaning health professionals give women with PCOS harmful dietary advice, including to eat a lot of eggs. The eggs help feed the virus that’s responsible for PCOS plus other pathogens, and so these women end up with a bogged down liver and even more cysts. Then due to the overwhelmed liver they gain weight, and the industry blames the PCOS for the weight gain. HPV. This virus is similar to other viruses in the herpetic family, which includes Epstein-Barr and shingles, both of which create many health issues. Sodium cluster salts in celery break down the outer membranes of the HPV virus. If you drink celery juice daily for two or three years solid you will knock down the virus, and do a whole lot of other good for your health at the same time. HPV has no immunity to celery juice.
What doctors think are cells that have been compromised due to HPV that can then lead to cancer is actually cancer caused by Epstein-Barr virus. Hypothyroid and hyperthyroid. Once again, Epstein-Barr virus is the culprit. It’s important to know that a virus is at the root of these illnesses, it is not your immune system attacking itself, as the autoimmune theory holds. Celery juice gets right into the thyroid and kills off Epstein-Barr virus and other pathogens. It’s not going to do it in one glass though, so you need to remain committed to a daily regimen for months and sometimes for a few years. It’s important to drink it in the specific way I share in Medical Medium Celery Juice to receive its benefits.
Menopause symptoms. These result from years of the liver getting sluggish and overloaded with toxins. Hot flashes, night sweats, adrenal fatigue, hormonal imbalances, irritability, anxiety, depression, fatigue, loss of libido and more all occur when the liver has become overburdened with viruses and toxins. It takes decades for this to occur, which is why these symptoms occur for women in their late 30s, 40s or as late as their 50s, and then the symptoms are mistakenly identified as early menopause or perimenopause.
Think about what happens if you had a virus or bacteria in the past. Where does all that byproduct and debris go? Unless your liver is in great shape and you’re doing all the right things (drinking celery juice; eating a clean, low-fat diet; eating primarily fruits, leafy greens and vegetables; avoiding problematic foods); and take the right supplements, these viruses and bacteria will still be causing trouble inside the body, even if you don’t feel the resulting health challenges yet.
For many individuals, menopause symptoms can be arrested with celery juice alone. It brings back and revitalizes the liver, lowers the viral load and helps women recover. “If you’re concerned about your health—if you have any sensitivities or conditions, if you’ve struggled with illness, or if you’re just concerned about prevention—then it’s critical to avoid as many triggers and instigators as possible, and this includes certain foods and ingredients. By now, we’ve all heard of preservatives and artificial flavors—we know to avoid those, for very good reason. There are other problematic ingredients, though, which you should know to avoid. These ingredients can feed existing viral, bacterial, and fungal conditions, which can lead to inflammation—and can also wreak havoc with your digestive system, weaken and confuse your immune system, strain your glands and organs, hinder cells anywhere in your body, disrupt or destroy your brain’s neurons and neurotransmitters, make you anxious and/or depressed, set you up for strokes or heart attacks, and more. Health professionals are unlikely to warn you about most of these foods and additives, because it’s not common knowledge that they can substantially worsen already-existing illnesses, nor that they can trigger new health conditions. You deserve to have full knowledge of what you consume, and what effects it all has on your body.
Corn used to be one of the fundamental sources of nourishment on earth. Unfortunately, the technology of genetically modified organisms (GMO) has destroyed it as a viable food. Corn products and byproducts create substantial inflammation. It’s a food that can feed viruses, bacteria, mold, and fungus. Even if you see corn advertised as being non-GMO, the chances are high that it can still trigger any kind of health condition—and that it may still be GMO.
Try to avoid all corn and all products that have corn as an ingredient. These include foods such as corn chips, taco shells, popcorn, corn cereal, and anything that clearly incorporates corn syrup or corn oil. They also include less obvious products, such as soda, gum, high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS), toothpaste, gluten-free foods that use corn in place of wheat, and herbal tinctures that employ alcohol as a preservative. (It’s most likely corn grain alcohol. Buy the alcohol free versions of tinctures instead.) Try to read ingredient labels carefully and do the best you can. Staying away from corn products and byproducts can be a lot of work. For a treat in the summertime, it’s okay to enjoy a fresh, organic corn on the cob. For the sake of your health, it’s worth the effort of cutting out corn the rest of the time.
Soy has suffered a similar GMO fate as corn. Soy used to be a healthy food. However, you can now assume that any soy product you encounter could have some GMO contamination or contain added MSG. Be cautious when eating soybeans, edamame, miso, soymilk, soy nuts, soy sauce, textured vegetable protein (TVP), soy protein powder, artificial meat products made from soy, and much more. Try to stay away from soy the best you can. If you really enjoy soy and feel deprived without it, stick to the safest options: plain, organic tofu or tempeh, or the highest-quality nama shoyu.
Canola oil is mostly GMO at this point in time. And regardless, canola oil creates a great deal of inflammation. It’s especially damaging to your digestive system, potentially scarring the linings of both your small and large intestines, and is a major cause of irritable bowel syndrome. Canola oil can feed viruses, bacteria, fungus, and mold. Beyond that, canola oil has an effect similar to battery acid on the inside of your arteries, creating significant vascular damage.
Canola oil is used in many restaurants and in thousands of products, often as a low-cost alternative to olive oil. Even reputable health food chains and restaurants use canola oil to keep prices down, sometimes advertising canola as a health food. Unfortunately, if canola oil is even a tiny part of an otherwise perfectly healthy dish of organic and all-natural ingredients, you should probably avoid that dish because of how destructive canola oil is. If you’re dealing with a mystery illness or a health condition, try to avoid canola oil at all costs.
Processed Beet Sugar
So far, GMO beets are mostly reserved for making processed beet sugar. You should therefore avoid products that contain processed beet sugar, which feeds cancers, viruses, and bacteria. This is different from grating fresh, organic beets over your salad, or juicing fresh beets. If you stick to organic, most whole beets that you buy in the produce section at your local natural market or at the farmers’ market are safe to consume.
Humans have eaten eggs for thousands of years. They were once an amazing survival food for us to eat in areas of the planet where there were no other food options at certain times of year. That changed with the turn of the 20th century, though—when the autoimmune, viral, bacterial, and cancer epidemics began.
The average person eats over 350 eggs a year. That includes whole eggs and also all the foods with hidden egg ingredients. If you’re struggling with any illness, such as Lyme disease, lupus, chronic fatigue syndrome, migraines, or fibromyalgia, avoiding eggs can give your body the support it needs to get better. The biggest issue with eggs is that they’re a prime food for cancer and other cysts, fibroids, tumors, and nodules. Women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), breast cancer, or other cysts and tumors should avoid eggs altogether. Also, if you’re trying to prevent cancer, fight an existing cancer, or avoid a cancer relapse, steer clear.
Removing eggs from your diet completely will give you a powerful fighting chance to reverse disease and heal. Eggs also cause inflammation and allergies; feed viruses, bacteria, yeast, mold, Candida and other fungus; and trigger edema in the lymphatic system. People who are diagnosed with Candida or mycotoxins are often told that eggs are a good, safe protein that will starve the Candida and mycotoxins. Nothing could be further from the truth. I know how popular eggs are. There’s a growing trend that promotes them as a major health food. Plus they’re delicious and fun to eat. If eggs were good for us in the current day and age, though, I’d be promoting them as such.
Milk, cheese, butter, cream, yogurt, and other such products contain a substantial amount of fat, which is a strain for your digestive system—and especially your liver—to process. Dairy contains lactose, and the combination of fat and sugar has negative effects on health, especially if you’re diabetic. Further, dairy fat in your bloodstream helps to breed viruses and bacteria. Dairy is also mucus producing, and a major cause of inflammation and allergies. Those are the issues that have always held true for dairy, even when it’s organic and free-range. And now, conventional, mainstream practice has made a problematic food into a toxic one by creating farm industry pressure to give hormones, antibiotics, GMO corn and soy, and gluten to cows, goats, and sheep. If you want a smooth healing process, it’s best not to eat dairy at all.
Avoid all forms of pork, including ham, bacon, processed pork products, lard, and so on. It’s difficult to heal any chronic illness while consuming any kind of pig product, due to these foods’ high fat content.
Farmed fish are often raised in small, enclosed spaces. This breeds algae, parasites, and other diseases—so the breeders often give the fish antibiotics and treat the water with toxic chemicals. This makes consuming farmed fish risky. The safest fish you can eat are wild ones, such as salmon, halibut, and haddock. No matter what type you select, beware of mercury— especially with larger fish such as swordfish and tuna.
Gluten is a protein found in many grains. The forms of gluten to which people are especially sensitive are in wheat, barley, rye, and spelt (a type of wheat). (When it comes to oats, be aware that growing and processing sometimes cross-contaminates them with grains that contain gluten. Oats can be a very good food for people who are less sensitive, though. Look for those that are labeled gluten-free.) Grains that contain gluten also contain multiple allergens and proteins that can trigger any condition. They create disruption and inflammation, especially in your intestinal tract and bowels. They also confuse your immune system—which is your primary defense against disease— and often trigger celiac disease, Crohn’s, and colitis. Eating these grains makes it very difficult for your body to heal. If you’d like to recover from your illness as quickly as possible, minimize grains of any kind.
Monosodium glutamate (MSG) is a food additive that’s used in tens of thousands of products and restaurant dishes. MSG is a salt that occurs naturally in glutamic acid (a non-essential amino acid). But there’s nothing natural about the extreme damage it can do to you. MSG typically builds up in your brain, going deep into your brain tissue. It can then cause inflammation and swelling, kill thousands of your brain cells, disrupt electrical impulses, weaken neurotransmitters, burn out neurons, make you feel confused and anxious, and even lead to micro-strokes. It also weakens and injures your central nervous system. MSG is especially harmful if you have an illness that involves your brain or central nervous system. However, there are no circumstances under which it’s good for you. As a result, this is an additive you should always avoid. Because MSG is included in countless products, it’s essential to read food labels carefully. It’s also important to know what to look for. MSG is often “hidden” on labels because of its deservedly bad reputation. The following terms usually mean that MSG is an ingredient: glutamate, hydrolyzed, autolyzed, protease, carrageenan, maltodextrin, sodium caseinate, balsamic vinegar, barley malt, malt extract, yeast extract, brewer’s yeast, corn starch, wheat starch, modified food starch, gelatin, textured protein, whey protein, soy protein, soy sauce, broth, bouillon, stock, and seasoning.
Any ingredient with a name like natural flavoring is hidden MSG. Natural cherry flavor, natural orange flavor, natural lemon flavor, natural fruit flavor...they’re not just fruit extracts, and they’re not your friends. The same goes for smoke flavor, turkey flavor, beef flavor, natural peppermint flavor, natural maple flavor, natural chocolate flavor, Medical natural vanilla flavor, and all their “natural” and “flavor”-ful cousins. (Although pure vanilla extract is safe to use.) Each type of natural flavor potentially contains multiple biohazards and chemical compounds. Natural flavoring has slipped under the radar and been allowed into thousands of health food store products that are advertised as good, safe, and healthy for you and your children. Moms, take heed. Natural flavors are one of the newest and stealthiest now-you-see-it-now-you-don’t tricks for hiding MSG. Take care reading labels so you and your family can avoid this hidden ingredient.
Artificial flavors can represent any of thousands of chemicals that were birthed in a lab. Don’t take risks by consuming them. As much as possible, the best you can, stay away from chemical additives.
Most artificial sweeteners act as neurotoxins because they contain aspartame. This can disrupt your neurons and your central nervous system. Long-term, artificial sweeteners can cause neurological breakdowns and strokes in your brain. If you crave sweets, eat as much fruit as you like. Fruit fights disease and has powerful healing properties.
Compared to the other additives in this chapter, citric acid isn’t so bad. That said, it’s very irritating to the linings of the stomach and the intestinal tract, so it can create a lot of inflammation and discomfort if you’re sensitive to it. Citric acid (the additive) is not the same thing as naturally occurring acid in citrus. Try not to confuse the two. Citrus itself is a healing food. The isolated ingredient citric acid, however, is often corn derived. Especially if you’re experiencing any kind of stomach pain, keep an eye out for citric acid on ingredient labels and consider skipping foods that include it.”

Metals accumulate in our bodies in a range of ways, which I outline in more detail in Medical Medium Celery Juice:
Medications: They contain various types of toxins, often including copper, aluminum and mercury.
Fluoride: This is an aluminum byproduct, a neurotoxin. It’s highly toxic to the liver, causing liver cell damage. We absorb fluoride from childhood fluoride treatments, public water that’s treated with fluoride and toothpaste that contains it.
Water: If you have your tap water tested, you’ll find that it contains multiple metals, including lead and arsenic. The EPA has deemed small amounts as safe, so the levels in public water supplies are considered safe. Unfortunately, the standard allowed in the water we drink and bathe with is anything but safe.
Air: The air we breathe, polluted by industry, contains toxic heavy metals as well.
Aluminum in cans, foil, baking and sticks of gum: The metal can leach off the product and into your body.
Pots and pans: Using aluminum or copper cookware, or even stainless steel pots and pans can mean you get a shaving of metal along with your meal. I’ve seen this a lot in restaurants, where pots and pans have been scraped to the bone with metal utensils, which means shards of metal have been inadvertently added to meals. I recommend using ceramic cookware whenever possible at home. If you use stainless steel or another metal-based cookware, do your best to avoid scraping your pots and pans.
Old metal fillings: For years the industry fought to protect these metal fillings and insisted the mercury was safe. This is an example of how something people herald as safe can be proven dangerous later. They finally switched to ceramic, but many people still have the old fillings. If you have multiple mercury fillings, I don’t recommend having them all removed at once. Copper pipes: In any home you live or stay in, copper from pipes can leach into the drinking and bathing water.
Pesticides, herbicides, fungicides: These are laden with toxic copper. Everyone has acquired some toxic metals from these commonplace products.
Inherited mercury quicksilver: When people went to the doctor in the 1700s and 1800s, they were pretty much always given quicksilver, regardless of what their health issue was. The tonic was made by heating mercury to create a liquid patients could drink. Yes, believe it or not, people were told to drink mercury for their health!
By the mid 1800s the medical establishment was collapsing and conventional doctors were called quacks because patients were going mad, they were going insane due to the quicksilver. By the turn of the century, people started turning away from those doctors and turning toward herbalists, chiropractors, naturopaths and other healers. The conventional doctors, the “quacks,” as they become known, had to advertise that they no longer used quicksilver in order to eventually get patients back.
The pervasive use of quicksilver had already done plenty of damage, however, and the consequences continue. Toxic heavy metals, including mercury, is passed down intergenerationally. In other words, our forefathers “medicinal tonic” is still poisoning us and the new generations being born today.

Celery Juice Disarms Toxic Metals
With toxic heavy metals that have been passed down through our bloodlines from thousands of years ago in our bodies plus the metals we’re exposed to on a daily basis, it’s critical to focus on removing these metals safely from the body and brain. Celery juice is a powerful tool to help you do so. You see, toxic heavy metals have a destructive charge to them, which causes them to damage cells throughout your body, including cells in your brain and liver.
Fortunately, celery juice contains something called sodium cluster salts, though this is unknown to research and science. Every individual carries different levels and different combinations of metals.
And remember how these metals carry a destructive charge within the body? When the metals cross paths and interact it can cause anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, mania and schizophrenia. People end up, understandably, needing medications for mood disorders. Yet unfortunately, these medications contain metals too. That doesn’t mean medications shouldn't be used; they can be life-saving in some circumstances. But they are often overused too and that can contribute to the problem.
The Five Heavy Metal Detox Foods
Celery juice is one part of the equation for helping to remove toxic heavy metals. The Damaging Duo of Fat and Metals
The destructive combination of fatty deposits and toxic heavy metals has become prolific in our bodies because of current food trends that favor diets that include a lot of fat. Fat makes metals even more dangerous in our bodies. These metals can cause severe mental and physical degeneration, including ALS, Alzheimers and Parkinson's.
There are people on clean paleo diets and people on clean plant-based diets, people who do animal products and people who don’t. And of course there’s many people who eat a Standard American Diet (SAD) with plenty of high fat foods. People in all camps are suffering with chronic illness and mystery symptoms. This is in part because all these diets are still too high in fat. A diet rich in protein for instance will also be rich in fat, and when it comes to healing chronic illness and symptoms, that’s not a good thing. There’s only a tiny minority of people who follow a truly low fat diet. If you have been reading and applying the Medical Medium book series information diligently for a while now, you might be one of the very few who do.
People see some improvement when they move from a Standard American Diet to anything else, including a keto diet, which is very high in fat, because any diet that removes processed foods, fried foods, greasy fast foods, bad sugars and so on. Eliminating bad fats and moving to healthier fats, along with some processed sugars and chemicals that are in a Standard American Diet is a step in the right direction and it can therefore bring some results. But it’s not nearly enough to reverse chronic illness and symptoms long term or to prevent more symptoms and conditions from eventually developing in the future, especially when the continued high fat intake is combined with the toxic modern world we live in.
A Favored Food of Pathogens
Another problem with toxic heavy metals is that both feed pathogens. Those bugs—viruses and bacteria such as shingles, Epstein-Barr, streptococcus and many more—are a major cause of chronic illness, including autoimmune diseases. Debunking a False and Damaging Theory
The entire autoimmune theory is based on a false premise that your body is attacking itself. This idea arose back around the 1950s after people started pouring into their doctors offices out of nowhere. Decades ago, I talked to a doctor who was then in his 90s. He remembered that beginning in the late 1940s, patients started streaming in with fatigue, neurological complaints and mysterious symptoms. Before that time patients mostly came in periodically with problems like appendicitis or a heart attack or a stroke, but suddenly there were droves of people–mostly women–reporting new symptoms. He said he and his colleagues would shake their heads wondering what was going on.
This was the dark age of chronic illness. Medical communities couldn't find an explanation, but they noticed autoantibodies were present through blood tests. So they came up with the theory that the immune system is destroying the body’s own organs, glands and connective tissue. There was no proof this theory was true then, and there continues to be no proof today. Those antibodies are there because your immune system has created them to seek out a pathogen inside your body, and it’s this pathogen that is causing the symptoms that get lumped under autoimmune labels today.
The autoimmune theory of the body attacking itself was cemented in, and we continue to live with it decades later as an ever increasing number of mysterious conditions are labeled autoimmune. It’s outrageous that with all the technology and advances we have made, this theory still stands. Think about cars in the 1950s, or the phones from the 1950s, and how much they’ve changed. But when it comes to chronic illness, we’re still in the dark ages. Medical communities still don’t know why so many people are getting sick, and at younger and younger ages. And unfortunately, science and research are looking in all the wrong places and putting the focus on areas like genetics, when it’s not our genes that are responsible for chronic illnesses, but viruses, bacteria, heavy metals and other toxins. Your Immune System, Working Hard
As I share in Thyroid Healing, the truth is your body never attacks itself. Your immune system can become burdened or weakened by various factors, but it doesn’t ever turn on you.
In the case of neurological autoimmune conditions, what’s happening is a virus is feeding on its favorite foods, including toxic heavy metals, like mercury, copper and aluminum; eggs, dairy, corn and gluten; pesticides, fungicides and herbicides. Unknown to medical research and science, a virus is a living thing and it needs to eat to survive. This is some of the information I delivered that medical communities are only beginning to consider. One of the by-products a virus creates and eliminates after it feeds on these foods is what I call a neurotoxin. These neurotoxins inflame the nervous systems of anyone dealing with autoimmune symptoms and that’s what causes neurological symptoms. Medical research and science are unaware of these viral neurotoxins.
The Epstein-Barr virus is often the culprit. There are more than 60 strains and mutations of Epstein-Barr, though science and research hasn't discovered this yet, so most of these strains won’t even show up on a blood test. Other troublemakers include undiscovered strains of shingles (some of which don’t cause a rash at all) and multiple mutations of HHV6, including HHV7, HHV10 and HHV16. (Bacteria, by the way, doesn’t create neurological symptoms because bacteria doesn’t produce neurotoxins when it feeds).
These elusive, problematic pathogens can bury deep inside the body and its organs, making it impossible for current medical testing to identify them. Meanwhile, your loyal immune system is doing its best to seek out and destroy these elusive, problematic pathogens and that’s why autoantibodies can show in a blood test–they’re going after the virus, not attacking your own body.
How Celery Juice Helps Heal Neurological Symptoms
So many people have lost years of their lives, their relationships, or their jobs due to autoimmune disease and neurological symptoms. They’ve been hurt and crushed being chronically sick for years and being told damaging misinformation about why they’re sick. Fibromyalgia. This is caused by Epstein Barr virus’ neurotoxins. The neurotoxins land on nerves and are an allergen to your nerves. They’re responsible for peripheral and central nerve inflammation that results in the aches, pains, fatigue, stiffness, and tenderness fibro sufferers experience.
You might be surprised to learn this: Lyme disease is a viral condition, not a bacterial condition. It’s not caused by bacteria—borrelia, bartonella and babesia or any others (the list of falsely accused bacteria will likely keep growing). If Lyme disease was caused by bacteria, then antibiotics could take care of it. You see, borrelia, bartonella and babesia aren’t super bugs, like the various forms of MRSA and c.diff. So antibiotics would effectively killing the so-called Lyme bacteria. Bacteria doesn’t cause neurological symptoms. But viruses do.
Most people’s Lyme disease symptoms are caused by Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), though all other viruses in the herpetic family can also cause them, including HHV-6, all the way up through the undiscovered HHV-9, HHV-10, HHV-11, and HHV-12. Epstein-Barr virus is the unknown cause of MS. The virus releases neurotoxins that inflame the central nervous system and can also reach the brain where it can cause lesions and mild forms of encephalitis. Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
Fortunately, chronic fatigue is now at least recognized as a real problem, but sadly medical communities still don’t know what’s causing it. Chronic fatigue has always been caused by the Epstein-Barr virus. Once again, the neurotoxins produced by the virus are bringing about brain and nervous system inflammation. Before chronic fatigue syndrome was described and given a name by medical communities, I was calling it neurological fatigue, because that’s exactly what it is: a deep and debilitating fatigue caused by inflammation of the nervous system due to viral neurotoxins.
Remember, there are more than 60 strains of Epstein-Barr virus, and some are more aggressive, so they create stronger neurotoxins that inflame the nervous system. Neurons in the brain are easily affected by these viral neurotoxins, leading to brain fog, confusion, fatigue, difficulty waking, heaviness of the body, and more.
Celery juice is your best weapon for fighting the virus that causes CFS. People who suffer from this illness have compromised immune systems and white blood cells. Celery juice contains undiscovered forms of vitamin C and the trace minerals that will strengthen your immune system and bring it peace. Know too that many people who have CFS are later diagnosed with Lyme disease. Zinc is one of the most important resources to fight viruses such as Epstein-Barr (EBV), shingles, herpes simplex, cytomegalovirus, and more. The body uses up supplies and even deep reserves of zinc at a rapid rate. It’s very common to become zinc-deficient when you have a virus, which most people do, if you weren’t already deficient. Zinc kills viral cells and lowers inflammatory reactions to neurotoxins produced by viruses in the herpes family, including EBV, shingles, and more.
Your Liver’s Ally
In Liver Rescue I share how integral zinc is for your liver’s health and proper functioning. “Zinc (as liquid zinc sulfate) is responsible for all of the over 2,000 chemical functions of the liver, including the creation of your liver in the womb and the development of your liver as you grew and reached adulthood.
The liver stores an abundance of zinc because it knows people are zinc deficient, in part due to the lack of it in the food we eat. Without zinc, your liver can’t perform its functions that protect your whole body, so despite its zinc storage, your liver always needs more, because the zinc output needed to respond to the mental and physical demands upon us is high. The onslaught of viruses, bacteria, and other pathogens in particular drains our zinc reserves.

Critical For Thyroid Health
Do you or does someone you know have a thyroid condition such as Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, Graves’ disease, hypothyroidism, thyroid cancer, nodules, cysts, or tumors? Zinc is critical for all thyroid conditions because it kills the virus that medical science and research don’t yet know is responsible for thyroid problems: Epstein-Barr virus. If you feel like you might have a cold or flu developing, you can use a healing practice I call “zinc shock therapy.” It’s important to begin it as soon as you get your first sign of a flu developing, so having a bottle of high-quality liquid zinc sulfate on hand at all times is important. Squirt two dropperfuls of the zinc into your throat, let it sit there for a minute and then swallow the zinc. Three hours later, squirt another two dropperfuls into your throat and let it sit there again for a minute before swallowing. Repeat every three waking hours for two days.

Foods Rich In Zinc
There are some foods that are especially high in zinc and are very helpful to have in your diet regularly, including sprouts, microgreens, collard greens, pumpkin seeds, radishes, artichokes, nettle leaf, parsley, onions, and raw honey. However, it is also important to consider supplementing with the right kind of zinc: liquid zinc sulfate.
The foods available to us on this earth don’t contain enough zinc anymore to provide all the zinc we need. Even the best organic farms tend to be missing this mineral from their soil, in part due to the elevated levels of toxic heavy metals that fall from the sky, altering the pH balance of the soil, depleting soil-borne microorganisms, and reacting negatively with the soil’s trace minerals such as zinc. This means that while pumpkin seeds, for example, which are celebrated for their zinc content, can be supportive, along with other foods known to be high in zinc, if you’re dealing with a symptom or condition, then supplementing with high-quality, liquid zinc sulfate will offer you an important immune boost.
More on Zinc Sulfate
Zinc comes in different forms and which form you supplement with matters. They’re not all going to offer you same benefits. Zinc sulfate is special in how it supports health. Also, as with all supplements, many products include added ingredients that are not health supporting, so it’s important to choose one that is as clean as possible. Avoid the many liquid zinc supplements that are loaded with citric acid, natural flavors, alcohol, and other toxic ingredients. Instead, search for a clean, high-quality liquid ionic zinc like the one on my preferred supplements page.
Eating plenty of zinc-rich foods and supplementing with zinc sulfate (at normal levels, not in megadoses) can offer so much relief for the person who suffers from chronic illness.
Zinc and Copper
As I share in Thyroid Healing, there’s a fear out there that taking supplemental zinc will deplete all the copper in your body. Don’t let this misconception hold you back. When you take the right type of zinc supplement, which is liquid zinc sulfate, you don’t need to worry about copper loss. This zinc doesn’t remove the essential trace mineral copper that’s helping your health; it only removes any toxic copper—and there’s a huge difference between those two. In fact, even with a lesser zinc supplement, you wouldn’t have to worry about copper loss, because trace mineral copper is one of the most assimilable and available from everyday food sources, so we’re all high in it, able to recoup it quickly, and not at risk for becoming deficient. It’s also very common to be high in toxic copper, so if the lesser zinc supplement is cleansing you of it, it’s doing you a favor. Of course, it’s still best to go with high-quality, preservative-free, liquid zinc sulfate.
