This is a symptom that is not thyroid-caused. Plenty of people with hypothyroidism and Hashimoto’s have plenty of libido. In truth, women’s sex drive is determined by their adrenal strength. This is a protective mechanism of the body; if the adrenals don’t have enough reserves for giving birth, then it triggers a shutoff switch for libido. (Men, on the other hand, can have compromised adrenals and plenty of libido.)
