- 2 large cucumbers (organic if possible*)
Wash the cucumbers and cut as needed. Run the cucumbers through your juicer and drink immediately for best results. If you do not have a juicer, you can cut the cucumbers, blend them until smooth, and then strain the liquid through a fine mesh strainer, cheesecloth or nut milk bag so you end up with just the juice to drink.
For best results, drink on an empty stomach.
*Please see the next question on whether the cucumbers should be organic or not.
Do my cucumbers need to be organic?
It’s best to use organic cucumbers if possible. If you are using conventional cucumbers, it’s important to scrub them very well. You can use a natural dishwashing detergent like this one to remove as much of the wax and chemicals on the skin as possible. Even organic cucumbers often have wax on the outside so you may wish to scrub your organic cucumbers too.
How much cucumber juice should I drink?

When is the best time to drink cucumber juice?
Cucumber juice is best consumed alone, about twenty to thirty minutes away from other foods and drinks.
