Wild blueberries also have the ability to repair tissues and cells and keep the immune system strong. They are a powerhouse food not to be missed!
Today's recipe gives you a fun, easy and delicious way to get wild blueberries into your diet. They are such powerful healers that including them daily is ideal, or as much as possible.
Wild Blueberry Bowl
Ingredients:
1.5 cups of frozen wild blueberries
1 mango
1 banana
1/4 cup of water
Topping options: sliced banana, strawberries, raspberries, shredded coconut, chopped walnuts, cinnamon or granola
Where possible, it is always best to buy these foods organic for ultimate health benefits.
Directions:
Place the frozen wild blueberries, mango, banana and water in your blender, and blend until smooth and creamy. If it's not blending well, you can add a little more water to get your blender moving. But be careful not to thin it out too much.
Transfer the mixture into a bowl and add the toppings. Eat with glee! :)
