Raspberry Jam Bites

Filled with a delicious, gooey, raspberry center, these Raspberry Jam Bites are packed full of both flavor and nutrients. They are made from only the healthiest ingredients and are the perfect snack for anytime of day. Pop a few in your children’s lunchboxes, serve them with herbal tea for an afternoon snack, or enjoy a few after dinner.

Raspberries are a great full-body detoxifying food, rich in antioxidants that specifically remove Epstein-Barr virus’s byproduct and other viral debris from the bloodstream, allowing for easier overall cleansing. Raspberries also tend to bind onto and remove impurities delivered to the intestinal tract by a liver burdened by viral waste matter.

Raw honey is the best replenishing fuel there is to feed and revitalize the thyroid. The glucose and other nutrients in raw honey practically get mainlined into the thyroid to feed the gland. Medical science doesn’t yet have its finger on the pulse of the symbiotic relationship between honey and the thyroid. An antiviral, too, that helps fight EBV with its zinc content.

Dates contain potassium, magnesium, and glucose that support your endocrine system. Dates help to purge the liver of debris often caused by EBV waste matter. They also trigger peristaltic action, helping the intestinal tract to squeeze and push out multiple varieties of waste that can burden the body when trying to heal.

Raspberry Jam Bites

Ingredients:

For the bites:

Directions:

Mash the raspberries with raw honey and set aside. In a food processor, combine the raisins, dates and coconut. Process until the mixture is uniform and sticks together.

To make the balls, wet your hands, take a large tablespoon worth of the mixture and spread it out on your palm. Lift up the sides to make a cup and place half a teaspoon worth of raspberry mixture inside, trying not to get any raspberry juices in (they will seep out). Close the ball gently and shape it between your hands. Roll it in coconut or raspberry powder. Repeat with rest of the mixture. These bites are best stored in the fridge.

Makes: 10-12 bites
