Mango Nori Wraps

Mango Nori Wraps

Sweet, juicy mango and fresh herbs make these nori wraps a standout. They are simple but full of flavor, especially when you can find high-quality mangoes and tomatoes. Roll your nori wraps and eat them right away, or pack them to go as a snack.

Mangos highly bioavailable trace magnesium coupled with phytochemical phenolic acids calms the central nervous system, which aids in helping to stave off strokes, seizures, and heart attacks.

This recipe comes from Brain Saver Protocols, Cleanses & Recipes, the companion book to Medical Medium Brain Saver. These two essential books about our most complex organ—the brain—dive deep into why people all over the world are suffering with mental health and brain-related symptoms and conditions. Brain Saver unveils the why behind more than 100 brain- and nervous system–related symptoms, diseases, and disorders; Brain Saver Protocols, Cleanses & Recipes reveals the truth about how to heal in even more detail (including cleanses, recipes, supplement protocols, and so much more).

Mango Nori Wraps

Ingredients:

  • 4 nori sheets
  • Squeeze of orange, lemon, or lime juice
  • 1 mango, peeled and cut into thin strips
  • 1 cucumber, julienned
  • 2 tomatoes, cut into strips
  • 4 spring onions
  • 1 cup loosely packed microgreens or sprouts
  • 1 cup loosely packed fresh cilantro leaves
  • 1 cup loosely packed fresh mint leaves

Directions:

Place a nori sheet shiny side down on a chopping board with the long edge close to you. Squeeze just a few drops of orange, lemon, or lime juice onto the nori sheet and use your fingers to roughly spread the juice over the nori sheet so that it’s very lightly moistened.

Arrange ¼ of the mango slices, cucumber, tomatoes, spring onions, microgreens or sprouts, and herbs on one end of the sheet. Squeeze another drop or two of orange, lemon, or lime juice across the other end of the sheet; then roll up tightly. Cut the wrap in half.

Repeat with the remaining ingredients and serve.
