Watch: Healing Sensory Processing Disorder & Mono Eating Steamed Peas
Healing Sensory Processing Disorder & Mono Eating Steamed Peas
I’ve been carrying Sensory Processing Disorder from early infancy/birth, so obstacles with sensory stimuli overload and heightened reactivity, (which others often couldn’t understand so perceived as extreme or even ridiculous) has really been the only reality I’ve known.
Peas were a food I wouldn’t touch (eat) due to intense aversions to their texture, taste, etc., but MM info has made it possible to peel back layers of this condition that otherwise would never leave me be.
It started with my healing enough to be open and willing to be uncomfortable on the way to being comfortable enough to voluntarily eat them.
I know they will help heal so much of what I am battling—and in unique ways!
That is hopeful and exciting.
It was a big deal for me to be eating peas nearly every day of my last consecutive cleanses and miraculously enjoy them, overall, so to then be able to transition right into tackling this specific mono option is still wild to me!
It’s just something I couldn’t previously foresee as remotely possible, so it’s a win.
I won’t be completing another year-long mono or anything (!), but I am going to keep going with my petite peas and butter lettuce a little longer. Checkmate!
