Grape Slushy

Sweet and refreshing, this slushy is such a fun way to enjoy a favorite for so many people: frozen grapes. This slushy lets the natural flavor and sweetness of the grapes shine–no refined sugars are added. It’s a great choice for kids or adults and is perfect when you need a pick-me-up.

Grapes are an amazing food to fight toxins and pathogens from the Unforgiving Six: they expel radiation from the body; their amino acids such as histidine, methionine, and cysteine work together with their anthocyanins to become a magnet that can help draw DDT and some toxic heavy metals out of the liver, kidneys, spleen, and other organs; plus they’re a potent antiviral for autoimmune disease, which is caused by the viral explosion.

Grape Slushy

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups black or purple grapes
  • ½-¾ cup cold water or coconut water (adjust for desired consistency)
  • 1-2 tsps freshly squeezed lemon juice (optional)
  • 1-2 tbsps pure maple syrup or raw honey (optional)

Directions:

Wash the grapes thoroughly and remove their stems. Spread them out in a single layer on a baking sheet and place them in the freezer for at least 2 to 3 hours, or until fully frozen.

Once the grapes are frozen, transfer them to a high-speed blender. Add about ½ cup of cold water or coconut water to help with blending. If you like a bit of tartness, squeeze in the lemon juice. You can also add a little sweetener, such as pure maple syrup or raw honey, if you’d like some extra sweetness.

Blend everything together until smooth and slushy. If the mixture is too thick, add a little more water or coconut water, a tablespoon at a time, until you reach your desired consistency.

Pour the slushy into chilled glasses and serve immediately.
