Garlic & Herb Peas
Ingredients:
- 3 cups freshly shelled or frozen peas
- 2 tsps onion powder
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsps finely chopped fresh dill or 1 tbsp dried
- 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
Directions:
Add 3 inches of water to a medium pot, insert a steaming basket, add the peas, and cover. Steam for 3 to 5 minutes until bright green and tender.
Remove the peas and place them in a bowl. Add the onion powder, garlic powder, dill, and lemon juice. Stir until evenly mixed.
Serve immediately.
Alternatively, if you prefer mushy peas versus whole peas, you can also place the peas in a blender or food processor and pulse a few times until the peas reach your desired consistency. Serve immediately.
