Caramel Date Chaga Shake

This shake tastes incredible and is visually so fun and appetizing. This is a great smoothie to make for your children, friends or family, or just enjoy it as a beautiful healthy shake for yourself. This shake can be made fat-free with water or coconut water or choose almond or coconut milk for an even creamier version.

Chaga is a wild food that strengthens red blood cells and bone barrow, balances blood platelets, and staves off cytokine storms, which are the result of the body overreacting to a pathogen or toxin.

As one of the most anti-parasitical foods on the planet, dates bind onto, destroy, and sweep away parasites; yeast, mold, and other fungus; heavy metals; unproductive bacteria; viruses; and other poisonous pathogens from the gut.

Caramel Date Chaga Shake



  • 2 large frozen bananas
  • 1 ½ cups unsweetened almond milk, coconut milk, coconut water or water (choose water or coconut water for fat-free version)
  • 1 tsp chaga powder
  • 2 Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1 tbsp dried mulberries, to serve (optional)

Date sauce:

  • ½ cup pitted Medjool dates
  • 1 cup warm water
  • ¼ tsp vanilla bean powder or alcohol-free vanilla extract


To make the date sauce, combine dates, water, and vanilla in high-speed blender. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed. Set aside.

Combine the bananas, liquid, chaga powder, and dates in a blender. Blend until smooth.

Swirl a few tablespoons of date sauce around a serving glass and pour the shake on top. Garnish with dried mulberries (if using) and serve immediately.

Serves 1-2
